Voting results reversed in Bharatpur Metropolitian; Renu took the lead

KATHMANDU: MAY. 14 – Results have been reversed in Chitwan’s Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

UML mayoral candidate Bijay Subedi has been surpassed by UCPN (Maoist) central candidate Renu Dahal, who had been in the lead for some time.

Renu got 278 votes out of the 700 total votes cast, while Subedi got 258 votes after her.

Similarly, Jagannath Poudel received 94 votes.
