Despite growing differences, NC maintains its lead
At the same time, the Nepali Congress has widened the ideological divide.
BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 14 – Nepali Congress has maintained the lead in Biratnagar Metropolitan City.
Nagesh Koirala of the Nepali Congress got 1038 votes, while Sagar Thapa of the CPN-UML got 774 votes.
At the same time, the Nepali Congress has widened the ideological divide.
Similarly, Umesh Yadav (Lantern), an independent candidate, got 277 votes.
Shilpa Nirala Karki of the UML has maintained her lead with 853 votes. Amarendra Yadav of JSP got 554 votes as a coalition candidate.
The vote is currently being counted.
