CPN (UML) panel wins in Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality-1 of Dhankuta

DHANKUTA: MAY. 14 – CPN-UML has made a victorious start in Dhankuta’s Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality-1.

In that ward, the CPN-UML panel, which included the ward chairperson, was victorious.

Govinda Limbu, the UML candidate for ward chairperson, got 450 votes, while Jogendra Limbu, the CPN-Unified Socialist Party candidate, got 357 votes from his rival alliance.

Govinda, a UML candidate, defeated Jogendra by 93 votes.

Dalit women member Nirmala Darji, women member Aranmaya Limbu, open member Nanda Singh Tamang, and Indira Subba Yakha also won on behalf of the UML.
