DHANGADHI: MAY. 14 – A clash has broken out between UML and Nepali Congress (NC) cadres while preparations are underway to start counting of votes in Himali Rural Municipality of Bajura district.
Following a disagreement over the sealing of the ballot box, the two sides clashed.
Chaturbhuj Ojha, Chief of the District Police Office in Bajura, stated that the police fired 12 rounds into the air to control the situation.
According to him, the Armed Police Force is being mobilized to help control the situation.
