NC defeated in Deuba ward, NC (BP) candidate won

DHANGADHI: MAY. 14 – The Nepali Congress (BP) has won the election for the position of chairperson of Ganyapadhura Rural Municipality-1 in Dadeldhura, Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s home district.

Naresh Bhandari of the Congress (BP), which has the election symbol ‘Karuwa,’ has won in Ward 1, which also includes Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s ward.

He got 673 votes, while his nearest rival, Nepali Congress candidate Chandra Deuba, got only 544 votes.

The Karna Malla group (BP), which was expelled from the Nepali Congress (NC), is competing with the NC in coordination with the UML.
