Ingnam maintains lead in Kanepokhari
Rajmati Ingam of the CPN-UML, who has been appointed as the woman chief in Kanepokhari, one of Morang's two municipalities, has taken the lead.
BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 14 – UML has been maintaining a continuous lead in Kanepokhari of Morang.
Rajmati Ingam of the CPN-UML, who has been appointed as the woman chief in Kanepokhari, one of Morang’s two municipalities, has taken the lead.
When 3,900 votes were counted, Ingnam got 1,603 votes. Ingnam is being followed by Sanjay Bhattarai of the Nepali Congress. He has got 1,112 votes.
Similarly, Surya Bahadur Dhimal of the UCPN (Maoist) polled 713 votes, according to the Office of the Returning Officer.
Similarly, Bhola Prasad Adhikari of UML has maintained the lead in the Deputy Chief.
While she got 1,685 votes, Man Kumari Gurung of Nepali Congress got 1,306 votes. Maoist’s Tara Ojha got 399 votes.
