UML wins in Lo-Ghekar Damodarkunda of Mustang

KATHMANDU: MAY. 14 – UML has won the Mustang district’s Lo-Ghekar Damodarkunda Rural Municipality.

According to the final results, Lopsang Chompel Bista of UML was elected chairperson, and Chhiring Lhamo Gurung of UML was elected vice-chairperson.

Bista was elected with 689 votes. Dev Bahadur Gurung of the coalition (CPN-S) received 185 votes.

UML’s Tshering Lhamo Gurung won the election with 641 votes. Her nearest rival Laxmi Gurung of the coalition (Nepali Congress) followed with 225 votes.
