65 percent voted in Taplejung

BIRATNAHAR: MAY. 13 – In Taplejung, 64.76 percent votes have been cast.
According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer’s statistics for all municipalities in the district, 64.76 percent of the votes were cast. According to Chief Election Officer Prakash Raut, 57,142 votes were cast out of 89,690 registered voters in the district.
The district’s Meringden Rural Municipality had the highest turnout of 70.77 percent. There were 6,089 votes cast out of a total of 8,603 voters. In Phungling Municipality, 64.12% of the votes were cast.
This municipality has the most registered voters. According to Chief Election Officer Raut, 11,031 votes were cast out of a total of 17,202.
The largest Rural Municipality in the district, Phaktanglung, had 65.53 percent of the votes cast, while Aathrai Tribeni had 62.32 percent of the votes cast. In Maiwakhola, 65.14 percent of the votes were cast, while in Pathibhara Yangwarak, 62.3 percent of the votes were cast.
Similarly, 65.47 percent votes have been cast in Sidingwa Municipality while 62.22 percent votes have been cast in Sirijanga Municipality.
