SURKHET: MAY. 13 – CPN-UML and Nepali Congress (NC) cadres have clashed in Dailekh’s Aathabis Municipality-6.

The clash occurred at the Bhairav Secondary School polling station in Aathabis Municipality-6.

The clash erupted, according to UML leaders, after Congress activist Ganesh Bahadur Shahi cast dozens of votes on his own. The clash has injured more than a half-dozen UML cadres. Durga Thapa, Kalpana Thapa, Kamal Thapa, Delhi Thapa, and Bal Bahadur Thapa are among those injured.

Puran Puri, Ganesh Puri, Ganesh Bahadur Shahi, Gagan Shahi, Harkanath Yogi, and others, according to UML, were attacked on behalf of the Nepali Congress.

According to the District Police Office, Dailekh, the voting process has been postponed by keeping the ballot boxes in a safe place.
