Banks & financial institutions to be open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm from Jestha

KATHMANDU: MAY. 12 – Banks and financial institutions will be open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm from Jestha (May/June).

The NRB has issued a circular to banks and financial institutions instructing them to operate services in accordance with the government’s decision.

Banks and financial institutions, infrastructure development banks, and the Nepal Clearing House will be operated from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., according to the NRB circular.

Similarly, two days per week, Saturday and Sunday, will be designated as holidays. Similarly, if there are more than two days of holidays in a row during festivals other than Dashain and Tihar, the staff can be deployed to regularize essential banking services.
