Modi visiting Nepal at UNESO’s invitation, what is the tour schedule?

KATHMANDU: MAY. 12 – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Nepal. On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, he is visiting Lumbini, Gautam Buddha’s birthplace.
Modi is scheduled to visit Nepal to commemorate Gautam Buddha’s 2566th birthday. He is scheduled to visit Lumbini on May 16 at the invitation of UNESCO.
Since 1997, UNESCO has designated Lumbini as one of the holiest sites in the world for Buddhists worldwide.
Following Modi’s visit, preparations have already begun in Lumbini. Four helipads are currently being built in the area. Modi is said to have flown into Lumbini from Kushinagar in a helicopter.

Deuba and Modi are set to hold talks and addresses in Lumbini, which will be attended by Buddhists from all over the world. Security preparations have been stepped up in anticipation of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Lumbini.
The administration is preparing to investigate the individual who caused the roadblock.
Modi will return to New Delhi via Kushinagar after a five-hour stay in Lumbini. Modi visited Nepal after being elected Prime Minister for the first time in August 2014. Despite visiting the Hindu shrines of Muktinath and Janakpur, he was unable to visit Lumbini.
This is Modi’s fifth trip to Nepal, and his first since being re-elected in 2019.
