Case of treason against actress Kangana dismissed after one year

KATHMANDU: MAY. 12 – Popular Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s treason case has been dismissed for making controversial remarks on social media.

The charge of treason against her was dismissed by a court in Dhanbad, India. On Wednesday, the court dismissed Kangana’s treason case, stating that there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Judge Siddhanta Tigga has dismissed her case. The case was filed in November of last year in response to her social media statement.

After a year, the case against Kangana for making anti-India statements was finally dismissed.
