Rice sacks recovered from Tanahun

POKHARA: MAY. 12 – Police have seized 50 sacks of rice kept for voter distribution in Bandipur of Tanahun district.

The police took control of the rice, which was being prepared for distribution in Bhujel Rural Municipality of Bandipur-5, based on information provided by locals.

The police have not disclosed which party will distribute the rice. However, Maoist cadres intervened and notified the police.
