BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 12 – The polling stations have been monitored by State 1’s security committee. A security committee is monitoring various locations in Jhapa to ensure a fearless election.

The State Security Committee officials conducted on-site monitoring of the most sensitive polling stations and polling stations in Kachankawal Rural Municipality and Haldibari Rural Municipality in Jhapa District under the coordination of Chief Secretary Dr Ram Prasad Ghimire.

The station was also monitored by a team that included Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Kali Prasad Parajuli, State Police Chief DIG Arun Kumar BC, DIG of the Armed Police Force Kamal Giri, Director of Investigation of National Investigation, and Nepal Army.

During the monitoring, discussions were held with officials from the Jhapa District Security Committee at the Jhapa District Administration Office. During the discussion, Chief Secretary Ghimire directed all security agencies to conduct the local elections in a safe, fair, and fearless environment by coordinating and cooperating collectively and mutually.
