Bomb exploded in Butwal, leaflet written CPN-Maoist was found

KATHMANDU: MAY. 12 – The blast took place at Milanchowk of Butwal Bazar on Wednesday evening.

According to police, a pressure cooker bomb exploded in front of Sunrise Bank in Minalchowk around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to police, a leaflet bearing the name CPN-Maoist was found at the blast site. Butwal Sub-Metropolitan Ward 9 is the location of the explosion.

There were no human casualties during the blast, according to Rupandehi Police Chief SP Rabindra Regmi.
