Fugitive defendant arrested in banking case

KATHMANDU: MAY. 11 – Ram Raj Khadgi, 27, of Tokha Municipality-2, was nabbed by the police as a fugitive defendant in a banking case.

On April 8, 2022, the Patan High Court sentenced him to three days in jail and fined him Rs. 10 million. On Wednesday, he was nabbed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

He was nabbed according to a statement issued by the bureau today.

The accused has been brought before the district court in Kathmandu for the execution of the court’s earlier decision.
