BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 11 – Since midnight last night, the Nepal-India border has been closed. The general public is also not permitted to enter or exit.

The Nepal-India border has been closed by the District Administration Office in Morang from 12 a.m. on May 10 to 12 a.m. on May 13.

The Nepal-India and Nepal-China borders have been closed, according to the State 1 Police Office in Biratnagar, in order to conduct the election in a clean, fair, and fearless environment.

The border crossings with India at Ilam, Jhapa, Morang, and Sunsari have all been closed. Morang’s Chief District Officer, Kanshi Raj Dhakal, announced that the Rani checkpoints and small checkpoints have been closed.

According to Dahal, the sale, distribution, and consumption of liquor has been prohibited in the Morang district since Tuesday night.

According to the administration office, alcohol distribution, sale, distribution, and consumption are prohibited in Morang until the election results are announced. Dahal, Morang’s Chief District Officer, stated that if the order was violated, legal action would be taken.
