KATHMANDU: MAY. 11 – Prithvi Subba Gurung, Chief of the CPN-UML Publicity Department, has asked the party to vote against the election code of conduct.

The period of silence began at 12 a.m. last night as part of the local level election.

However, leader Gurung asked for votes by sharing his own video on his official Facebook page at 8:10 am on Wednesday.

During the silence period, it is illegal to solicit votes, even through social media, according to the election code of conduct.
