Motorcyclist died in tipper collision in Kalanki

KATHMANDU: MAY. 11 – A motorcyclist has died when his motorcycle collided with a tipper in Kalanki, Kathmandu.

A motorcycle (Ba 80 Pa 6373) heading in the same direction had collided with a tipper (Ba 5 Kha 7345) heading towards Swayambhu from Thankot at around 3 last night.

The deceased motorcyclist has been identified as Diwakar Adhikari, 45, of Dhuniveshi Municipality-2, Dhading. The motorcyclist, who was critically injured in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, according to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office.

The tipper driver Lila Bahadur Tamang of Thakre-10 in Dhading has been arrested, according to the Kalimati Police Circle.
