KATHMANDU: MAY. 11 – Those who do not have voter ID cards will be able to vote in the local elections on May 13. The name should be required in the voter list for this purpose.

Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya, Chief Election Commissioner of the Election Commission, stated that arrangements have been made for all citizens to vote.

He stated at a press conference held by the Election Commission on Tuesday that those who do not have voter ID cards will not be denied the right to vote.

Is an identity card required for voting or is it optional for citizenship? In response to the question, he stated that all citizens who have obtained citizenship have been granted the right to vote.
