KATHMANDU: MAY. 10 – According to Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa, the CPN-UML has no moral right to to seek votes in this local election.

Thapa stated this today at an election assembly organized by Nepali Congress, Gokarneshwor Municipality in Jorpati.

He claimed that the then CPN (Maoist) government, which had won a two-thirds majority in the federal election in coalition with the Maoist center and other smaller communist factions, had collapsed due to the whims of one man, and that the party was divided.

Oli was accused of working with anyone to save the UML’s credibility.
