UML & Nepali Congress cadres clash in Tanahun

POKHARA: MAY. 10 – UML and Nepali Congress cadres have clashed in Tanahun.

According to the victim, Bhuwan BK of the CPN (UML) beat up Congress rural municipality president Yam Bahadur Thapa while he was attending an all-party meeting of the rural municipality to discuss the death of a child in the municipality.

According to District Police Office Chief Rajendra Regmi, there was a general pushing in the crowd.

Jit Prakash Ale, president of Congress Tanahun, has issued a statement demanding an investigation into the incident and action against the culprits.
