UML cadres stabbed

KATHMANDU: MAY. 10 – UML cadres have been stabbed in the Sunsari district of Duhabi. On Monday around 9 p.m., an unidentified group stabbed Pradip Rishidev in Duhabi-9.

According to the injured Rishidev, he was stabbed by a group of 9/10 people while sitting in a temple near his home. Tabij Mia, a UML state candidate from the same ward, stated that the injured Rishidev was a party cadre.

According to Duhabi Police, the injured are being treated at Sunsari Community Hospital. The incident is being investigated, according to Police Inspector Jai Dev Majhi of Area Police Office Duhabi. This incident is unknown whether it is related to the election or not.
