Clashes between UML & Nepali Congress cadres in Gorkha

POKHARA: MAY. 10 – A tussle has broken out between Nepali Congress and UML cadres in Gorkha district’s Arughat Rural Municipality. The two groups clashed after drinking alcohol late at night in Arughat-1, Shyamchet, according to the Gorkha Police.

Two UML cadres and two Nepali Congress cadres were injured in the clash. Among the injured are locals Phul Bahadur Lama and Bikram Lama close to UML while Bir Bahadur Lama and Dorje Lama close to Congress.

They are all being treated at Arughat Primary Health Center. A complaint has been filed against Kumar Lama and Karma Lama at the Arughat Area Police Office, alleging that they were involved in the beating.
