UML holding election rally at Bhrikuti Mandap today

KATHMANDU: MAY. 10 – Today, the CPN-UML will hold an election assembly at Kathmandu’s Bhrikuti Mandap. The UML, which has held election assemblies in major cities across the country, will hold today in Kathmandu.

The assembly will be addressed by Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and other top leaders. The last assembly for the local elections will be held in Kathmandu today, according to UML Kathmandu District Committee Secretary Rajesh Shakya.

At 2 p.m., UML candidates from Kathmandu’s 11 municipalities, including Kathmandu Metropolitan City, will gather at Bhrikuti Mandap with a procession and jhanki (a sort of dance) of their respective municipalities.
