DHANGADHI: MAY. 9 – Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Chairperson of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center), stated that the election was held to defeat local level regression.
Prachanda stated this while speaking on behalf of the alliance at the Nepali Congress Dhangadhi election assembly.
He claimed that the country had turned around after the democrats and leftists banded together and that the dictatorship had failed.
He stated that such alliances made the peace process and the constitution possible and that the same alliance also defeated anti-constitutional forces.
He also called for the success of the Democratic Leftists Alliance.
