KATHMANDU: MAY. 9 – Kanjirowa National Higher Secondary School held an election for the position of Deputy Chief Student Representative with the goal of providing students with practical knowledge about upcoming local elections.

There are three student representatives at the school, including the chief and two deputy chiefs. In which one head will be nominated by the school and two deputy heads will be elected by students in grades four through ten.

According to Bikash Basnet, the school’s coordinator, even though such elections will take place in the school, providing assistance prior to local elections will allow younger students to gain practical knowledge about elections.
