Deuba & Prachanda reached Dhangadhi to seek votes
The two have reached Dhangadhi in a Nepal Army helicopter to address the alliance's joint election meeting today.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 9 – Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister and President of the Nepali Congress, and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairperson of the CPN-Maoist Center, have reached in Dhangadhi.
The two have reached Dhangadhi in a Nepal Army helicopter to address the alliance’s joint election meeting today.
Deuba and Prachanda reached in Dhangadhi together on Sunday, following the alliance meeting in Dang. Prime Minister Deuba is staying at his Dhangadhi residence, while Maoist Chairperson Prachanda is staying at the Rubus Hotel.
Prime Minister Deuba will leave for his home district Dadeldhura today after addressing the alliance meeting in Dhangadhi. On Tuesday, he is scheduled to address a Nepali Congress election assembly.
This morning, UCPN (M) Chairperson Prachanda will address the election assembly of Kailari Rural Municipality in Kailali. He will address the general assembly in Kalikot, Kanchanpur, and Doti on Monday after concluding the meeting in Dhangadhi in the afternoon.
