CHITWAN: MAY. 8 – Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal,’ Vice-Chairperson of the CPN-UML, has stated that he did not come to Bharatpur to threaten anyone.
Addressing an election assembly here on Sunday, he said, “I have not come here to intimidate, bully, or deceive anyone like others.” ‘I’ve come here to discuss the CPN-tactical UML’s issues.’
He was referring to Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the Central Committee Chairperson of the UCPN (Maoist). Earlier, there was widespread criticism in UML circles that Prachanda had threatened local voters. “I have come here to tell you the needs of the UML,” Badal added.
He described the upcoming local body elections as a battle between two opposing forces. “External powers are on one side, and patriots are on the other. Simply put, it is a conflict between traitors. We must win this “He stated, “In the end, patriotism triumphs.” The Nepali people are the source of power. And they will triumph.’
