KATHMANDU: MAY. 8 – The Tribhuvan University (TU) Central Department of Psychology has published ‘Nepalese Psychology: Part I’.

The publication is said to be a compilation of contemporary research and practices in the area of Nepalese psychology and to be useful for those interested in psychological research, practices and educational aspects.

The book incorporates 23 write-ups about the history, achievements and development of Nepali psychology. Launching the book, Department chief Prof Dr Nandita Sharma said the book would be useful in bringing out history, development, progress, contemporary research and practices relating to the field of psychology.

She claimed the book would be a milestone in the area of psychology.

Book editor Dr Yuba Raj Adhikari said the compilation was capable of contributing to the documentation of the periodic development of psychology in the Nepalese context.
