DHANGADHI: MAY. 8 – Locals have taken control of a government vehicle driven by Nepalu Chaudhary, CPN-UML and Far Western MP.
Nepali Congress youths have taken control of the party in Dhangadhi-19, claiming that the UML flag was planted in a government vehicle, in violation of the election code of conduct.
At around 9 p.m. on Saturday, the youths took control of the vehicle (Se 1 Jha 307) from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan 19 J village and handed it over to the police.
According to Ved Prakash Joshi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Kailali, the vehicle was parked at Bahuliya Police Post.
He stated that an investigation into the incident was ongoing. Chaudhary is the Legislative Assembly’s and the State Affairs Committee’s chairperson. He obtained the vehicle facility after becoming chairman of the committee.
