Two vehicles used by coalition for propaganda were set on fire
The fire was brought under control at 3:00 a.m. with the assistance of residents and city police.
SURKHET: MAY. 7 – Two vehicles were set on fire in Birendranagar by an unidentified group. A Scorpio (Ba 14 Cha 6831) parked in front of Satkar Hotel on Jumla Road and a minibus (State 02-001 Kha 0061) parked in front of Century Bank were both set on fire last night.
According to the Karnali State Police Office, Scorpio was used for propaganda by the Nepali Congress, while the minibus was used by the CPN-Maoist. According to police, an unidentified group set fire to the vehicle around 2:00 a.m. and fled.
One of the Scorpio’s back tires was burned, and all of the seats in the minibus were burned and the windows were broken. The fire was brought under control at 3:00 a.m. with the assistance of residents and city police.
According to the Karnali State Police Office, the people who started the fires are being sought.
