Ruling coalition holding election assembly in Kathmandu today

KATHMANDU: MAY. 6 – The five-party ruling coalition is holding a joint election assembly in Kathmandu today.

Top leaders of the ruling coalition parties are scheduled to address the election assembly taking place at Shanti Batika of Kathmandu at 1:00 pm.

The meeting will be addressed by Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, and Rastriya Janamorcha leaders, according to Congress Kathmandu President Krishna Bania (Sabuj).

The coalition parties have coordinated the election for the May 13 local level election based on local needs. On Thursday, coalition parties held a public meeting in Chitwan to prepare for the election.
