91,000 ballot papers were delivered to Kalikot
There are 41 thousand 944 male and 38 thousand 472 female voters in nine local levels of the district.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 5 – Necessary election materials including 91,000 ballot papers have reached in Kalikot for the upcoming local level election.
According to the District Election Office, work on delivering materials to polling stations and polling booths has begun. Lal Kaji Shrestha, Chief Election Officer and District Judge reported that the necessary ballot papers and other materials had arrived in the district.
In the district’s nine local levels, there are 41 thousand 944 male voters and 38 thousand 472 female voters. District Election Officer Nandaram Chaulagain stated that election preparations are in full swing.
According to reports, all four security agencies will be mobilized to ensure election security. Ram Hari Sharma, Chief District Officer, stated that security personnel would be mobilized as needed during the election.
