Alliance has moved forward unitedly – Chairperson Prachanda

KATHMANDU: MAY. 5 – Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Chairperson of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center), has claimed that the ruling coalition will win the upcoming local elections.

Speaking to reporters at Bharatpur Airport today, he stated that the alliance has moved forward with unity in its work. The decision, according to Chairperson Prachanda, was in the hands of the people. “Winning the election is not difficult,” he said.

Renu Dahal, a central member of the UCPN (Maoist), has emerged as the ruling coalition’s leading candidate in Bharatpur. Today is an election assembly for the coalition.

On Wednesday, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel reached in Chitwan to address the assembly.
