Suspicious object found near candidate’s house

BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 5 – A suspicious object has been found in Morang’s Sundarharaicha Municipality -11 Shukrabare. A suspicious object resembling a pressure cooker bomb was found, according to police.

According to DSP Deepak Shrestha of the Morang District Police Office, a Nepal Army team has been mobilized for disposal. A pressure cooker, he claims, was discovered in a maize field near the home of CPN-UML candidate Jiv Nath Dhakal.

The suspicious object is pasted on a wired pressure cooker with the words ‘Let’s boycott the so-called local elections’.
