Rain in Kathmandu since morning, this will be the weather across the country

KATHMANDU: MAY. 5 – Nepal is currently experiencing three climatic effects. Local winds, low-pressure systems from Uttar Pradesh to the plains of West Bengal, and western winds all have an impact, according to the Meteorological Department.

Currently, there is partial to general change throughout the country. The rest of the states, including State, Madhesh, and Bagmati, are experiencing light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in one or two locations due to the hilly terrain.

Since this morning, it has been raining with thunder in various parts of the Kathmandu Valley. This afternoon will see normal cloud cover in State 1, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini, according to the Division. There will be partial cloud cover in Karnali and Far Western States.

There will be partial to normal cloud cover in the hilly areas of State 1, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini at night. There will be partial cloud cover in the rest of the country.
