The Nepal Students Union has formed a 753-member central mobilization committee in preparation for the May 13 local level election.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 4 – The Nepal Students Union, a sister organization to the Nepali Congress, has formed a central mobilization committee to campaign for the upcoming local elections.

Dujang Sherpa, Chairperson of the Nepal Students Union, announced the formation of a central mobilization committee to make the local level election more systematic, effective, and result-oriented.
The Nepal Students Union has mobilized one representative at each local level. Chairperson Serpa said that the mobilization committee would play an important role in making the party’s election campaign a success and winning the Congress candidate.
He stated that the Nepal Students Union delegates would mobilize young students as volunteers in each polling station in collaboration with the party delegates.
Meanwhile, the Nepal Students Union has formed a 1,591-member campaign committee to ensure the ward-level victory of the Congress candidate.
