Hearing begins on writ against appointment of IGP
A preliminary hearing on the writ was scheduled for Wednesday.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 4 – The hearing of the writ petition against the appointment of the 29th Inspector General of Nepal Police (IGP) has begun.
Bishwaraj Pokharel, the Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG), filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court on Monday, the Council of Ministers’ decision to appoint Dhiraj Pratap Singh as the Inspector General of Police.
A preliminary hearing on the writ was scheduled for Wednesday.
