KATHMANDU: MAY. 3 – Khadak Thakurathi, a candidate for the post of Bhageshwar Rural Municipality Chairperson of Dadeldhura, has made public his election manifesto. Independent candidate Thakurathi has announced to make arrangements for the people to celebrate Dashain within 365 days through the election manifesto.
In point no. 3 of the 8-point declaration, he has written, “By giving full guarantee of happiness, prosperity and peace to the people, arrangements will be made to celebrate Dashain every day.”
He even said that he would sow the seeds from the helicopter. Irrigation has also been included in the declaration to be made by helicopter.
According to Thakurani, its application has been successful in the world as well. Mentioning that it has been used in Congo, China and other countries, he said, “It is also successful here.”
