Free health camp of KMC at Battisputali
KMC doctors provided free health screenings to 753 people at the Golden Gate College camp.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 3 – On Monday, a free health camp was held in Battisputali, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9. The camp was co-organized by the local Gauthali Savings and Loan Cooperative Society and Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.
KMC doctors provided free health screenings to 753 people at the Golden Gate College camp. According to Narayan Dahal, general manager of KMC, 193 people were subjected to video X-rays, 189 to blood tests, and 132 to heart tests (ECG).
Similarly, 22 people have lost teeth, and 41 people who were unable to be treated at the camp have been referred to a hospital for surgery, according to the organizers.
KMC had previously held a free health camp in Kapan on Friday, treating 962 people.
With the arrival of Dr. Sunil Sharma as Chairperson of KMC, the organization is stepping up its operation of free health camps. Millions of patients have benefited from it.
