Mobile phones not allowed at polling stations, what else is prohibited?

KATHMANDU: MAY. 3 – Local level election is being held on May 13.

The polling officer should set up the polling station for the election in accordance with Schedule 33 of the Local Level Election Guideline, 2078.

The Election Commission recommends that the “Inside” card be placed at the voter’s entrance and the “Outside” card be placed at the voter’s exit door. Outside the polling station, non-smoking zones and prohibited weapon cards should be displayed.

Arrangement should be as follows: –

Local residents, as well as staff and security personnel stationed at the polling station, can be used to help construct the polling station. Locally available materials such as rope, bamboo, thong, and tent can be used to build the center.

Tables, benches, chairs, and other necessary materials for polling should be provided in the polling station built in this manner.

Polling station should be like this: –
