Complaint against Sunita Dangol

KATHMANDU: MAY. 3 – A complaint has been lodged against Sunita Dangal at the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority. She is the CPN-candidate UML’s for deputy mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City in the upcoming local elections.
A complaint has been filed against her for falsifying her educational certificate and appointing an expert advisor. The petitioner has admitted to being a permanent resident of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
According to the complaint, Dangol obtained post-graduate qualifications and was hired as a consultant for the Kathmandu Metropolitan Urban Development Project for five years. According to the complaint, the expert advisor of urban development projects in Kathmandu Metropolitan City should be well-versed in technical subjects and have completed post-graduate studies.
According to reports, the complaint was filed on April 29. The complaint requests that the entire file of her appointment be taken from the metropolitian and that the amount and fine received under the Prevention of Corruption Act be recovered.
