KATHMANDU: MAY. 2 – The Election Commission (EC) has demanded responses from 45 organizations calling for action against Keshav Sthapit, the Kathmandu Municipal Corporation’s mayoral candidate.
The Commission understands that the words expressed while taking action against Sthapit are against the Election Code of Conduct.
“It is said that action on the issue of women has been demanded.” ‘A written response must be submitted within three days of receiving information that the words used in the demand for action violated the code of conduct,’ said a commission commissioner.
