Complaint against Far Western Minister Bohara for violating code of conduct
Minister Bohara left the ministry to campaign in various wards of Amargadhi Municipality.
DADELDHURA: MAY. 2 – The Election Commission has lodged a complaint against Far-Western Social Development Minister Govinda Raj Bohara for violating the election code of conduct.
A complaint has been filed against Minister Bohara for his participation in the Nepali Congress Dadeldhura election rally.
Minister Bohara left the ministry to campaign in various wards of Amargadhi Municipality. A complaint has been filed against the minister by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Dadeldhura, based on evidence provided by the public.
To engage in propaganda for or against any political party or candidate in the conduct required of the Government of Nepal, State Governments, Ministers, local executives, and officials in accordance with paragraph 3 of the Code of Conduct issued for the sponsorship of local level elections in 2079 BS is mentioned.
According to the Chief Election Office, the necessary information regarding the registration of the complaint has been sent to the concerned body, and it is currently being investigated.
