People want change, our victory is assured: Kalyan Dhami
Dhami said that the people are fed up with corruption and misgovernance and change will be seen in the upcoming election.
DARCHULA: MAY. 1 – CPN (UML) ward chairperson candidate Kalyan Singh Dhami from Shailyashikhar Municipality Ward No. 6 has said that he is in favor of people’s change.
Dhami, who is in the Millimili area of the ward during the election campaign, said that the people are fed up with corruption and misgovernance and change will be seen in the upcoming election.
Stating that the position of CPN-UML has been strengthened in Shailyashikhar, Dhami said that the victory has been ensured as they have served the people despite being in opposition. “The people want change. We are sure to win all the posts, including the mayor and deputy mayor,” he said.
UML has fielded Bijay Singh Dhami and Shanti Khadayat for the post of mayor and deputy mayor respectively while Amar Singh Dhami and Rajmati Bum Pal have been nominated for the post of mayor and deputy mayor respectively.
Similarly, Kalyan Singh Dhami from UML and Jagdish Dhami from the alliance have nominated for the post of ward chairperson of ward no. 6.
