Concept of Kathmandu belongs to UML: Chairperson Oli
He urged UML representatives to win, rather than the people who need to be discussed.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 1 – KP Sharma Oli, Chairperson of the CPN-UML, has stated that it is unnecessary to discuss the other candidates in the local elections.
Speaking at a GEFONT event in Kathmandu on the occasion of International Workers’ Day on Sunday, Oli stated that it was the right of other parties’ candidates to run for office and that it was not necessary to debate them.
He urged UML representatives to win, rather than the people who need to be discussed. He stated that the UML had previously begun the concept and development of a clean Kathmandu and that it is now the UML that will make the metropolis prosperous. Oli, speaking on behalf of the workers, urged the UML to clarify any problem.
Chairperson Oli also directed cadres to go among the people with the party’s local level manifesto.
