Expel employee immediately if there was any evidence of solicitation of bribe: Sthapit
KATHMANDU: MAY. 1 – Keshav Sthapit, the CPN-UML mayoral candidate for Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has stated that if elected, he will solve the city’s basic problems within 100 days. Following this, he stated that he will work on administrative reform.
He made the remarks while speaking on the occasion of Labor Day hosted by the Federation of Nepal Trade Unions in Kathmandu on Sunday. “If I am elected in Kathmandu, I will solve the basic problems within 100 days and work to improve administrative work,” he said.
He stated that if any employee was found to be asking for a bribe, he would be fired immediately. “If the employee brings evidence of corruption, I will fire him the same day,” Sthapit said.
He further stated that he would be happy for one if elected as mayor.
