UML Gokarneshwor forms 251-member election mobilization committee

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 29 – CPN-UML has formed a 251-member election mobilization committee under the coordination of Dr. Bidur Chalise in Gokarneshwor Municipality for the upcoming local elections.

The UML Gokarneshwor Municipal Committee formed an election mobilization committee today at Dream House in Jorpati in the presence of CPN-UML central member and Kathmandu Constituency No. 3 MP Krishna Rai.

Uddhav Bista and Sannani Lama have been nominated by the CPN-UML for the posts of mayor and deputy mayor of Gokarneshwor Municipality, respectively.

The total number of UML candidates in the municipality’s nine wards is 47.

UML won some ward members, including two ward chairpersons, in this municipality in the last local election in 2074 BS.
