KATHMANDU: APRIL. 29 – Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairperson of the CPN-Unified Socialist, claims that approximately 35 of the party’s candidates were elected unopposed.

Chairperson Nepal claimed that approximately 35 people, including the rural municipality chairperson and vice-chairperson, were elected unopposed at a party induction program held in Kathmandu on Friday.

He claimed that the party’s victory would be assured in other elections as well. Chairperson Nepal stated that everyone should be prepared to accept the election results.

He further stated that issues concerning candidate selection would be discussed within the coalition.
